Both sweet and savoury items are for sale each week, all eggs used are free-range, and we also sell these in the market. All our food producers hold a current Certificate in Food Hygiene. Are your favourite Chocolate Muffins sold out before you come in? You can use our ordering system.

FRESHLY MADE HOME BAKES

A wide range of marmalades, jams, jellies, pickles and chutneys are available, and local honey. We have many items which are not found in supermarkets. There are no added preservatives or artificial colourings used in any of our preserves. Gift packs are also available.

 

HOME MADE PRESERVES

An interesting selection of home grown vegetables and fruit, herbs and fresh cut garden flowers are for sale in season, also flower arrangements

Have you ever thought about food (or flower) miles. Ours are very low, often just the few miles our producers have taken to get to market.

There are superb plants for sale in season - bedding, perennials, bulbs, indoor plants and vegetables all at reasonable prices.

These are grown by the producers who sell to you, so they can answer your questions.

We have good quality locally handmade crafts for sale, including a large selection of baby wear, really useful household items, decorative seasonal goods, gifts and original greetings cards for all occasions. We also have a range of girls dresses for summer & winter wear.

JEWELLERY

Why not treat yourself or a friend to an item of jewellery. All handmade by local craftspeople and each piece unique. We have a good selection, and gift boxes too.
